In this workshop you will experience traditional Balinese dance Kecak with Marije Nie. This dance is a unique form of collective vocal percussion, exploring simple interweaving rhythms with the voice and body. The dynamic rhythms create an intense and unique experience of "self-in-community”, with possibilities to explore improvisation and storytelling. This workshop is open to anyone interested in discovering the traditions of a geographically distant culture.
